A HEROINE OF MINE
Most Wanted Vintage have just released their latest lookbook 'A heroine of Mine', inspired by a collection of over-the-top earrings from the 1980s and a range of quirky crowns created by local artist, deadfairylights. This lookbook is all about bold colours and lots of bling, owner, Tannia Lee says.
I had a vision of lots of gold, be-dazzling jewels and bright colours and started to build a collection around the theme of royalty meets punk, meets glam.”
This is the third lookbook Tannia has created since she opened Most Wanted Vintage in 2010 and if funds and time permitted, Tannia would be bringing out a lookbook every season, as she sees them as a great way to showcase her clothing and accessories.
"Lookbooks are big projects and I can take months to source and finalise a collection. They are expensive to put together because I'm not always sourcing what's cheapest, I'm sourcing what fits into the collection the best. Sometimes the best means forking out extra for a special cardi or a coat. Lookbooks are very important as they show the world your shops personality, style and ideas and of course, what you have for sale.”
