Join poet Lynley Edmeades as she presents a response to Zac Langdon-Pole's [sic] at 8pm.
Lynley Edmeades is a poet and a PhD candidate at the University of Otago. Her research is concerned with sound and duration in avant-garde and conceptual poetry, from Gertrude Stein, through John Cage, to Caroline Bergvall and the present day. She has written extensively on John Cage, the relationship between poetry and music, and the affective dynamics of space and language in performance. Her poetry has been published widely in New Zealand, Ireland, the UK and the US. In 2011 she completed an MA in Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and in 2012 was shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize. She also reviews poetry for The Listener and Landfall Review Online.
