The Autumn Group Show at Gallery De Novo

by Insiders Dunedin

The Autumn Group Show at Gallery De Novo opened on Saturday 17 May and is showcasing new work by a selection of the gallery's key artists.

Also on display are first time artists to De Novo, with their new works in a mixture of mediums, including prints, glass sculpture and original paintings.

Works on display include pieces from multi award winning artist Jasmine Middlebrook  who has just been awarded first prize at the annual Hope and Sons art awards.  The work by local Dunedin artist, Philip James Frost (now based in Austraila), is a prominent colourful diptych hanging in the main gallery.  Two other international artists - Kelvin Mann (Ireland) and John Santucci (Australia) feature alongside local artists including Ben Webb, Lewis Christian, Andy McCready, Phillip Edwards, Suzy Platt, Eliza Glyn, Nic Dempster, Philip Maxwell and many more.

This Autumn show will be a rotating exhibition, so you can expect to see new works being hung throughout the entirety of the Show.  The exhibition will be on display until June 5th - when we make way for a new exhibition WEBB - featuring works from Ben and Marilynn Webb.
